Writer/ actor/ producer/ comedian Trav S.D. (Travis Stewart) began his professional career as a stand-up comedian at age 15; by 19, he was voted "Funniest Man in Rhode Island." After graduating from Trinity Rep Theatrical Conservatory in 1988, he moved to New York and began mounting his own plays.

After a year in the employ of singer Tony Bennett, he attended NYU film school. In 1996, he formed Mountebanks, the component parts of which are described at the links below.

Wednesday, September 26, 7:00pm, Trav S.D. performs as "Cornbelly" with Johnny Clearfield and the Clearfield County Ramblers, Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46th Street

Thursday, October 11, 10:30pm, Trav S.D. plays guitar and sings with The Other White Meat at the Kraine Theatre, 85 East 4th Street.
